Keep on keepin’ on…

16 June 2009

Last week I didn’t get the workouts in that I wanted, but that’s ok; Saturday was my husband’s birthday (Happy Birthday Bob!), and Sunday was just a lazy day, which we all need from time to time. This week, however, training is back on! Today is a 2.5 mile run and can you believe I’m actually looking forward to it? When I joined this team, someone mentioned that endorphins are addictive! Also, I’m doing Tae Bo for my cross training, and that always puts me in a good mood.

On another note, I’ve got my St. Jude page setup, with the URL in my sig line in my email, and am getting ready to go through the fundraising packet on their website (I still haven’t received anything in the mail, anyone else?).

Here’s to a great race in December!

Hey Tisha! Tae Bo? This is a charity run and it should be pretty peaceful. But if you feel the need to take out one of the Elvis impersonators, have at it!
It takes a long time to get the packet. Go to the participant login and they have resources there as well.

Yep, I like Tae Bo because I feel like everything is worked when I do it, arms, legs, everything, and it isn’t aggressive at all. I also recorded a yoga and a core workout on the DVR (FitTV channel), I’ll be trying those soon.
